RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Easy Returns & Exchanges:
Gingerlilly offers a 30 day returns period so you can shop with confidence. Return options vary depending on whether your item was purchased at full price or on sale. Please see the product categories below.
Full Price items:
Full-priced items can be returned within 30 days for an exchange, store credit, or refund. This also applies to full-priced items purchased using a discount code. Refunds will incur a $10 handling fee, however exchanges remain FREE of charge.
Sale items:
Items marked as 'SALE' or 'FINAL SALE' can be returned within 30 days for an exchange or store credit only. Refunds are not available on sale items unless the item is faulty.
CONDITIONS OF RETURNS
Gingerlilly is only responsible for garments purchased directly from the Gingerlilly website. All garments purchased through one of our stockists must be returned to the original point of purchase.
*Goods must be returned within 30 days of the order date and must be:
- Unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unsoiled
- In their original packaging with tags attached
- In the Gingerlilly Gift Box
Gingerlilly reserves the right to reject items that do not comply with the above conditions and may return the item to the buyer at their expense.
FAULTY ITEMS
A faulty item may occur due to a manufacturing issue or defect. Our team will assess the item before issuing a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
PROCESSING TIMES
Refunds and exchanges are processed within 7–10 days of receipt. Items undergo a quality check before the return is finalised. Original delivery fees are not refundable. Please allow 3–5 days for funds to appear in your account.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Please note that international returns or exchanges are at the customer's expense.

How to Process a Return: Australian orders

1 ~ START YOUR RETURN
Enter the return portal and follow the steps to complete our online returns form. Choose whether you would like Exchange, Store Credit, or Refund.

2 ~ PRINT YOUR LABEL
The return portal will provide you with a label. Simply package your unworn item(s) with their original tags attached, and affix the printed return label to your parcel.

3 ~ POST THE PARCEL
Drop off your labeled item(s) at any Australia Post location, and we'll notify you once your return has been received.
To return or exchange an item, simply have your order number and phone number, email, or postcode ready. A $10 handling fee applies to refunds for full-price items in Australia, however exchanges remain FREE of charge for all regions.
How to Process a Return: International orders
Please note that while our return and exchange policy applies to both Australian and international orders, the process for international orders differs. All international returns and exchanges are at the customer’s expense.
To initiate a return or exchange, please submit the request through our portal. We will review and approve the request before it can be processed. Please wait for our approval before shipping the item back, as international returns and exchanges are not automatically processed.
Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost, and we are not liable for any return charges. To avoid additional fees, please ensure your package is labeled as “No Commercial Value” or “Return Merchandise” when shipping it back. Secure packaging is required, and all returns must follow our provided shipping instructions.
For exchanges, the portal will automatically charge a $25 shipping fee to ensure a smooth and efficient process. For further assistance, please contact our customer service team.
