RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We get it, sometimes we change our minds or we don’t get what we imagined. Nevertheless, we want you to shop with confidence, knowing that you can easily return or exchange items. We currently offer free AU exchange on most products, subject to terms and conditions.
Australian orders

1 ~ START YOUR RETURN
Enter the return portal and follow the steps to complete our online returns form. Choose whether you would like Exchange, Store Credit, or Refund.

2 ~ PRINT YOUR LABEL
The return portal will provide you with a label. Simply package your unworn item(s) with their original tags attached, and affix the printed return label to your parcel.

3 ~ POST THE PARCEL
Drop off your labeled item(s) at any Australia Post location, and we'll notify you once your return has been received.
To return or exchange an item, simply have your order number and phone number, email, or postcode ready.
International orders
Please note that while our return and exchange policy applies to both Australian and international orders, the process for international orders differs. All international returns and exchanges are at the customer’s expense.
To initiate a return or exchange, please submit the request through our portal. We will review and approve the request before it can be processed. Please wait for our approval before shipping the item back, as international returns and exchanges are not automatically processed.
Customers are responsible for the return shipping cost, and we are not liable for any return charges. To avoid additional fees, please ensure your package is labeled as “No Commercial Value” or “Return Merchandise” when shipping it back. Secure packaging is required, and all returns must follow our provided shipping instructions.
For exchanges, the portal will automatically charge a $25 shipping fee to ensure a smooth and efficient process. For further assistance, please contact our customer service team.

Our returns policy is here to help you navigate your return.
Gingerlilly employs a ‘Change of Mind’ policy on all full-priced items, allowing you to return them for an exchange, store credit, or a refund within 21 days of purchase*. If your item was not marked as full price, please see our product categories criteria below:
FULL PRICED ~ As part of our ‘Change of Mind’ policy, our full-priced items can be returned for exchanges, store credit, or full refunds, even if purchased with a discount code.
MARKED DOWN ~ Sometimes we have sales and discounts! If you see an item has a discounted price but no ‘FINAL SALE’ label, we can offer you a size exchange or store credit, but unfortunately, no refunds for them.
FINAL SALE ~ Some of our items have a little ‘FINAL SALE’ label. For these products, we cannot offer any refunds, exchanges, or store credit unless the item has been found faulty.**
CONSIDERED RETURN ~ To support our commitment to reducing carbon emissions we aim to encourage mindful purchases and minimise unnecessary transport emissions - helping us all do our part for the planet. Returns for a refund in Australia will occur a $10 handling fee. Exchanges remain free of charge for all regions.
International Returns & Exchanges
Please note that international returns or exchanges are at the customer's expense.
Gingerlilly is only responsible for garments purchased directly from the Gingerlilly website. All garments purchased through one of our stockists will need to be returned to the point of purchase.
*Goods must be returned within 21 days of the order date, and must be:
- Unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unsoiled
- In their original packaging with tags attached
- In the Gingerlilly Gift Box
Gingerlilly reserves the right to reject items that do not comply with the above conditions and will return the item to the buyer at their expense.
Faulty Items
A faulty item might not meet your expectation for a number of reasons, such as a manufacturing fault. Our team at Gingerlilly must assess the damage before issuing any repairs, replacements, or refunds.
Refunds and exchanges are processed within 7 to 10 days of receipt. The garment undergoes a quality check before your refund is processed. The original delivery fee will NOT be refunded or given as store credit. Please allow 3 to 5 days for the refunds to reach your method of payment.
